Greatist: Brand Refresh
Expertise:

Overview:
Greatist is a wellness site aimed at younger adults, offering approachable, evidence-based content on fitness, nutrition, mental health, relationships, and everyday well-being. Its tone is friendly and relatable, making healthy habits feel accessible and realistic for real life.
My Role:
As part of the design team, I worked with designers and photo editors on the editorial team to create visuals that connected with our audience. I contributed ideas that shaped our creative direction and helped develop design guidelines and templates to ensure consistency during a brand refresh.
Outcome:
The project produced a flexible design system and style guide with templates for graphics, social media, and web content, all aligned to Greatist’s refreshed brand. This cohesive system streamlined content creation, strengthened visual consistency, and helped reinforce Greatist’s friendly, relatable voice across every touchpoint.

Gifs:
Animations (gifs) bring graphics to life, adding movement and energy that capture attention. These lively, interactive visuals make editorial content more dynamic, drawing viewers in and turning static images into an engaging, memorable experience.

Swag:
Greatist swag was awesome because we used custom illustrations that really reflected our brand's personality. It made everything feel unique and personal, not just like regular company merch. Plus, it was super fun and creative! (and wearable)

Social:
At Greatist, our social media graphics were designed to seamlessly link to articles, providing a convenient and engaging way for our audience to explore and enjoy the content.
